Day 6, we were awoken by border patrol at 5am wanting to check our passports.  We packed up shortly afterwards and started the long hike up the other hill.  Today had a wind warning of gusts up to 70mph!  I did think we were crazy to hike up a hill with cliff faces when the wind was so strong.

I didn’t take to many pictures today as I was afraid of dropping my camera.  The climb took all day and we were constantly going up!

We carried enough water to get us all the way to mile 101, which was over the other side of the hill.  We found a great campsite with a great view at mile 93.
