We hiked up to Mount Laguna from our camping spot at mile 30.  It was a very windy day, and the climb was quite steep.  The views got better the higher up we went.  We carried enough water to get us into Mount Laguna.

We arrived at about 2pm.  We grabbed a lunch at the pine house tavern, which is really hiker friendly.  Served great food, and the lady serving is going to be hiking the PCT at some point too!

We discussed getting a lodge.  We went to the store, and got our resupply box, picked up a few supplies from the store – which is really overpriced. We bounced a couple of things to warner springs.  We also sent a box home.  This included a fishing rod, a pine cone from the forest at mount laguna, and johns journal.  Things that we really didn’t want to carry.
